If you’ve been looking for unbiased information on the FAP Turbo software and perhaps its predecessor, the FOREX Autopilot; I’d like to take this opportunity to review both of them for you today, but in particular — the FOREX Fap Turbo software. I have used both of these products and have had modest to excellent successes with both, so I believe I’m qualified to give you an honest review. But first a little background.

I know FAP Turbo has been widely hailed as the best FOREX robot out there and I have to agree. Owing to recent advances made in trading technologies, FOREX robot trading software has improved dramatically over the past few years.

It executed the trades and often times you’d find that you had anywhere between an 80% to a 95% winning ratio — which is awesome according to anybody’s standards.

I remember when I started out trading with the FOREX Autopilot, the only things you could really do is trade the Euro-US Dollar pair. It in itself Autopilot was a great product because you could set it and forget it. You set your criteria for what you wanted to accomplish using the software controls. You also set what you wanted it to trade for, and it would trade according to your criteria. It executed the trades and often times you’d find that you had anywhere between an 80% to a 95% winning ratio — which is awesome according to anybody’s standards. But the problem was, it was limited to only one trading pair.

So the inventors of the FAP Turbo software, what they did is they said, “OK, we can build a better mousetrap.” They went to Marcus Leery, the guy who invented the FOREX Autopilot and he gave them the source code and he said, “Sure, go ahead and try to make a better mouse trap.” Well, they did. He didn’t believe they could, but they did. And what FAP Turbo allows you to do is take the same principles of the FOREX Autopilot and apply it to twelve different currency pairs. Not just the Euro-US Dollar, but eleven other currency pairs as well.

On the other hand, FAP Turbo relies on small profits of anywhere from 5 to 15 pips. It trades more frequently to consistently take these smaller profits. Therefore, you have less of a likelihood of losing big time if you do lose. Now there’s some logic to that.

You set the criteria on each pair you want to trade, and it will trade for you. Now there are some important differences between FAP Turbo and the FOREX Autopilot. The main difference being that the FOREX Autopilot trades only for a four hour period on any given day.

On the other hand, FAP Turbo relies on small profits of anywhere from 5 to 15 pips. It trades more frequently to consistently take these smaller profits. Therefore, you have less of a likelihood of losing big time if you do lose. Now there’s some logic to that. And I like the system and the way it’s set up. Further it includes both long term and a short term trading strategies.

The FAP Turbo long term strategy is modeled more after the FOREX Autopilot. And you can alternate between long and short term. Nothing is set in stone. Which is probably one of the reasons you can have so much fun trading with it.

Worth noting also is that the FAP Turbo website includes an excellent trading journal of their results. As one example, they say, “Hey, we put in $5,000 in this account.” And sure enough, in three months, they show the trading results.

That was quite impressive especially when I found out that the trading results were updated in real time! Every day that the FAP Turbo traded their accounts, it updated the results on the website. That’s pretty unheard of because most people will just give you their best canned results. The live account updating certainly adds credibility.

Personally my experience with FAP Turbo has been very good. I like the results I am getting, but I had to learn not to be gun shy or trigger happy. Any good trader will tell you that when you trade you have to trade unemotionally. You have to pretend it’s money you don’t care about. You cannot bring emotions into it like, this is my last chance at making money, or this is my last hundred dollars and I’ve got to make it big. You can’t expect any trading software to make you rich overnight.

But by any measure, FAP Turbo is a great FOREX trading tool. I pass on my recommendation. But you should try it first using a trial account and decide if it’s right for you. I wish you all the best of luck with it.
